WHAT MAKES MORE SENSE FOR ME?
The question of Federalism vs States Rights is similar to today's debate between the Republican candidate John McCain's stance of government "getting out of the way" and 'helping people to help themselves' and the popular Democratic stance of government taking a more active responsibility for correcting the social ills of society such as poverty, poor educational standards and the current housing crisis. Using your basic knowledge of the U.S economic crisis, i.e rising gas prices and rising staple food prices, and comparing the Democratic and Republican basic platforms, write a well supported essay of at least 3 paragraphs on which platform is GENERALLY better for what is needed in YOUR world, and in the lives of the people you love. Use your history texts in chapters 5 and 6 for historical reference of this longstanding debate.Utilize the variety of sources on the web, including the websites of the candidates, to compare their declared policies and state your opinion.

From my stand point in life I feel as though the Democratic side fits me and my family the most. The reason why I may say this is because I myself come from a middle class family not a rich family so time may be a little roughs from time to time with money since every thing same to be going up. I believe that the democratic side fits my whole family because we are all middle class working family, and day after we see gas price
Going up and know we have to eat at night. So I believe that what the democratic side is
State is right for me and my family.
I strongly feel that the Democrtai side is best for me and my family. I feel this way because my faily is not rih or poor but is a middle class family.I also feel this way because sometimes it gets rough beause prices are going up such as gas,food and other housing supplies that are needed.The democratic side is best for my family because the democratic side understands what it like to be a family to struggle and nt have it all.

I feel that the democratic party is the best for me and family because of all of the right they are for and also they have the same aspect on how this world should be ran.
Therfore, if me and my family are starting to think that the gas prices are starting to get to outrageous than the democratics feel the same and would like to change that problem and having gas station owner price raising.
Also, i feel that the democratics are best for me and my family because they know that home supplies and food supplies prices are increasing and quanity is decreasing.
A well system that my family and I can live in is the Democratic side because it fits my families lifestyle. The Democratics presidents takes time out and think of their people along with Republican side as well.
I do not view my neighborhood as a poverty section to live in but it is hard times and some people in my area are living pay check to pay check. Along with that those who live in a not so good area their kids get low education values due to them not being as wealth as other.
As the Democratic parties decide to pick one that best represent the Democratics I start thinking about how they would try to decrease gas prices, but and end on this war, try to rise education all over, and most of all meeting people needs.

I feel as though that the Democratic side is the nest fit for my life. That's because i agree with what they are trying to do. I mean that they believe that we shouldn't struggle in life to survive.
Gas prices are outrageous. How do the governmnet expect us to pay that much money when jobs are being lost everyday. As well pay rolls need to increase because with todays prices, its hard to keep a stable balance. Think about it, middle class people are on thin lines. Now it seems as though they are trying to eliminate that class. Just having The Upper class, and Lower class only.
So what do you believe, working trying to surrvive shouldn't be a field. Life should be at a level where everything can be stable and wont have changes. Who wants to live a life like that. The better the system is, a better outcome of all.
Living in a society that live democrat is the best fit. Not jus for my society but for my family and my people. I live in a well managed house hold. Well let me say i best fit my self in middle class.
Many times it is difficult for my family to do different things because of taxes geting hire and gas prices. DOnt forget there is 5 people in my house living with 1 parent it is diificult. At some times.
Having a democratr taking a replubican position would be great for a lot of midle class and lower class families because it will decrease alot of things thhat we can not afford. I think democrats is the best.
